We recently purchased a 27 year old home with the original aluminum-frame single-pane windows.  We were experiencing significant temperature differences in certain rooms that were very uncomfortable and taxing the HVAC system. Update:  I keep finding pieces of mortar from around the old windows all over the house.  Just found a big piece under our king bed.  Not sure why they did this when they had a large trash can right outside the window. Thanks for making my home look so much better!  The windows are absolutely stunning and the install was smooth and quick.  Such quality, beauty and service seems rare these days, but Univeral Windows Direct delivered on all three points.
